Activity: Site Instruction or Self Led (with appropriate qualification) – Developing Skill, Problem solving, Team Work and Confidence
Kayaking takes place on Sapper Lake, which is approximately 1 acre in area. Classified as ‘C’ Class water for Scouts, some parts as ‘Safe Inland’ for Guides.
Current maximum size of group with site instruction is 12. Two groups can be on the lake at once.
We have up to 24 single seat kayaks.
Where possible groups should be of a similar standard so that the level of instruction can be geared to the group and not the individual. Please check POR for non-swimmer rules.
All equipment will be cleaned before and after sessions
Minimum age 6 years
